Public officials, public figures, celebrities, visiting dignitaries, executives, witnesses, and those in sensitive jobs who risk threats of assassination, abduction or other forms of harm require special protection.  Those called upon to protect such individuals face a difficult task which requires careful planning and consideration ranging from  historical perspectives to organizing protective details.  This hands-on course covers the full spectrum of executive, witness & dignitary protection consideration.

INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES

This course is designed to provide training to armed private investigators and protective agents to meet and exceed the requirements specified in MN Board Administrative Rules regarding Executive/Witness Protection.

Attendees will participate in walking formations, motorcade operations, site security, building, vehicle, aircraft and watercraft searches, report writing, and advanced operations, etc., as part of protective teams. At the conclusion of the program, attendees will have participated in the planning, preparation and execution of all activities of a small unit protection detail.
