D. LARRY PEART

OVERVIEW

D. Larry Peart is the Qualified Representative, Chief Investigator and former President of Peart & Associates, Inc.  Peart is a Vietnam veteran and a retired U.S. Air Force veteran having served 20 years in the Special Intelligence Field.  Peart has been awared the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and multiple Air Force commendation medals.

Peart teaches Firearms, Use of Force/Deadly Use of Force, Executive/Witness Protection, and Chemical Weapons courses.  Peart has been providing these courses for law enforcement, private security officers and individuals.

SPECIFIC TEACHING TOPICS

Peart has been teaching for private security companies for 15 years.  He has been instructing in the following specifics:  Handgun Profiency and Accuracy, Shotgun and Rifle, Use of Force/Deadly Use of Force, Executive/Witness Protection, Chemical Weapons, Explosive Devices and Infrared Thermal Imaging

Peart is a Certified NRA Law Enforcement/Security Handgun and Shotgun Instructor.  He is also certified by the MN National Guard Counter Narcotic Program as a M-16 & AR-15 Rifle and MP-5 Instructor, as well as Explosive Devices Instructor.

Peart is a Certified Advanced Thermographer by the Law Enforcement Thermographers Association (LETA).  He is also a certified instructor by the MN Board of Private Detectives & Protective Agents.

TEACHING AUDIENCES

Peart has presented courses to individuals, private security companies, law enforcement agencies, airport rescue and firefighters, MN Civil Air Patrol, as well as numerous corporations.

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS

sPeart is an active member of the MN Association of Private Investigators and is currently serving his 2nd three-year term as Vice President of Operations.  He is also active in the National Council of Private Investigators & Security Specialists (NCISS), National Rifle Association of Certified Firearms Instructors, United States Process Servers and the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners (ISCPP)
