D. NEGEN
OVERVIEW
Sgt. Glenn Negen has been a police
officer with the Willmar Police Department for over
thirty-one (31) years. Sgt. Negen is a Vietnam
veteran who served with the U.S. Navy's Inshore Undersea
Warfare Groups 1 & 2. Sgt. Negen currently holds
Black Belts in Judo, Jutitsu, Taekwondo, Hakko Ryu
Jujitsu, Sombo and has been the head of the Willmar Judo
Club for over 29 years. Sgt. Negen teaches
Defensive Tactics, PPCT Training, Officer Survival,
Firearms Training, SWAT Training and Executive/Witness
Protection. He has been providing these courses
for Law Enforcement, Corrections and Private Security.
In addition, Sgt. Negen has conducted
SAEDA (Subversion and Espionage Against the Army) for
the U.S. Army Reserve and Minnesota National Guard.
He also provides Violence in the Workplace, and SHARP
(Sexual Harassment, Assualt & Rape Prevention) Training
for students on campus and employees in the corporate
workplace.
SPECIFIC TEACHING TOPICS
Sgt. Negen has been teaching for 17 years
in the Law Enforcement Department at Ridgewater College,
Alexandria Technical College, Dakota County Technical
College and Southwestern Minnesota Technical College.
